Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an Install Manager for Solar PV and battery storage projects across Hampshire and the South Coast. The role blends leadership with hands-on electrical work at first, coordinating electricians, roofers and subcontractors to deliver high-quality installations for domestic and commercial sites.

You will help plan labour, materials and schedules, monitor safety and workmanship, and drive seamless handovers. A full UK driving licence and travel across the region are required.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• Testing and Inspection qualifications such as 2391 or working towards them.
• Experience leading installations or supervising others.
• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to remain on the tools during the initial 3–6 months; full UK driving licence; willingness to travel across Hampshire and the South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support electricians, roofers and subcontractors across domestic and commercial Solar PV and battery storage projects.
• Carry out electrical installation work, testing, commissioning and consumer unit upgrades where required, especially in the first 3–6 months.
• Work with the operations team to organise labour, materials, equipment and installation schedules.
• Monitor workmanship, promote safe working practices and help resolve technical or site issues.
• Ensure installation documentation, testing records, certification and customer handovers are completed correctly.
• Provide practical guidance to installers, communicate with customers and site contacts, and keep the operations team informed of progress.
