Job summary

Valoris Group is recruiting an Install Manager on behalf of a growing renewable energy business, delivering Solar PV and battery storage installations across Hampshire and the South Coast.

The role is hybrid for the first 3–6 months, combining installation management with hands-on electrical work on domestic and commercial sites. Salary ranges £52,000–£65,000 depending on experience. Based near Lee-on-the-Solent, with travel across the South Coast.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on Solar PV installation experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Testing and Inspection qualifications, such as 2391, or working towards them.
• Experience leading installations or supervising others.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Hampshire & the South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations: coordinate electricians, roofers and subcontractors on domestic and commercial Solar PV and battery storage projects.
• Remain hands-on initially: electrical installation work, testing, commissioning and CU upgrades.
• Plan site delivery: work with operations to organise labour, materials and schedules.
• Maintain quality and safety: monitor workmanship and resolve site issues.
• Manage completion and handover: ensure documentation and customer handovers are complete.
• Support teams and customers: provide guidance and keep operations informed.
