Accelerated People Management Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Lead Solar Electrician to oversee Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump installations.

You will lead electrical installations across projects, perform inverter connections and wiring, and undertake testing and commissioning to ensure standards are met. The role offers a clear path into supervisory positions and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical installation experience with hands-on knowledge of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
• Experience with Air Source Heat Pump wiring and related electrical installations desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th Edition, with testing/inspection qualifications advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge, able to work independently and progress into supervision.

Responsibilities

• Leading electrical installations across Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump projects.
• Carrying out inverter connections, battery installations, heat pump wiring and associated electrical works.
• Completing electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning to meet standards.
• Taking ownership of installations and mentoring other engineers as the team expands.

As a Lead Solar Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading electrical installations across Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump projects
• Carrying out inverter connections, battery installations, heat pump wiring and associated electrical works
• Completing electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning to ensure installations meet the required standards
• Taking ownership of installations, maintaining high-quality workmanship and supporting other engineers as the team expands

The successful Lead Solar Electrician should have:
