Job summary

Accelerated People Management Ltd are advertising a Solar Electrician role in Market Harborough. You will install solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems on commercial and domestic projects, perform testing, fault diagnosis and commissioning, and support site assessments.

The position offers £50,000–£55,000 per year, plus a company vehicle, training and progression opportunities within the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial electrical installations.
• Hands-on installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems.
• Experience with EV charging and Battery Energy Storage Systems desirable.
• Must hold ECS Gold Card.

As a Solar Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and connecting Solar PV systems, battery storage units and EV charging systems.
• Conducting site assessments.
• Carrying out testing, inspection and commissioning.
• Diagnosing faults and performing maintenance.

The successful Solar Electrician should have:

• Proven experience carrying out commercial electrical installations
• Previous hands‑on experience installing and commissioning Solar PV systems
• Experience working with EV charging and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is desirable
• ECS Gold Card
