Job summary

Codan Limited's DTC division is seeking a Software Test Team Lead to guide a hands-on group of test engineers responsible for embedded and software products across defence and security domains. You will shape test strategy, plan releases, and mentor the team to deliver reliable, customer-ready software.

Collaborating with software and systems engineers, product teams, and operations, you will drive automated testing, CI/CD integration, and risk-based quality practices to ensure high standards

Qualifications

Experience leading software test teams across multiple releases.
Strong knowledge of test design, regression, and integration testing.
Experience with test plans, test cases, and release quality assessments.
Ability to communicate quality risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with embedded, defence, or mission-critical software.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software test engineers.
Plan, coordinate, and execute testing across releases.
Define test strategies, environments, and entry/exit criteria.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders.
Promote automated testing, CI/CD integration, and defect reporting.
Manage defect triage and release readiness.
