Corpay is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Epyx division and help build scalable applications across the r2cOnline and 1link ecosystems. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and designers, architecture leadership, and driving AI-enabled improvements.

The position reports to the Engineering Manager and requires strong DevOps/DevSecOps experience, cloud-native design, and a passion for delivering robust software in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience in SaaS environments and distributed systems.
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and drive iterative delivery.
• Proven track record with agile software development and DevOps.
• Exposure to DevSecOps and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with AWS native services and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and architecting product building blocks to integrate with r2cOnline.
• Driving alignment with the architectural roadmap.
• Mentoring software engineers and fostering team growth.
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
• Providing technical leadership to leadership teams.
• Writing clean, extensible code using best practices and TDD/BDD.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and agile teams to deliver value.
