As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Prime Finance Services, you are an integral part of a global team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for developing and implementing technology solutions across multiple areas within various business functions to support the firm’s objectives.

Our Prime Finance Technology Group values passionate problem-solvers who innovate and excel in engineering practices. You will apply your knowledge across the software development lifecycle and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve shared goals. The team is transforming the equity financing platform, working on projects involving Kafka, AMPS, real-time inventory trading in Java and KDB+/q, and UI development in React.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop creative software solutions, troubleshoot, and think beyond routine approaches.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with practical experience.

• Proficiency in Java/Spring framework.
• Understanding of industry technology trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• UI development experience in C#, React JS.
