As a Software Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of the software you create: designing, coding, testing, and deploying in production.
We seek an experienced Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and delivery management within a key product team. The team develops tools and journeys that help customers understand their financial situation, evaluate options, take actions, and plan for their future.
You will collaborate closely with your team’s Product Manager and UX Designer to understand requirements and contribute to design and discovery processes.
We believe engineering teams should own software delivery end-to-end. You will manage delivery activities, chair huddles, oversee tickets, and ensure smooth execution.
You will be a line manager to Senior Software Engineers, supporting their development through regular 1-1s, coaching, and mentoring.
As a hands-on technical leader, you will participate in design discussions, write code, review PRs, solve problems, and uphold quality standards. You will also monitor production services, triage issues, and work to improve system observability and stability.
