As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, reviews, and debugs code written by the team.
• Provides technical guidance and support to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Contributes to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Supports a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Solid understanding of software applications and technical processes such as data ingestion, data storage, data serving, APIs.
• Hands-on experience with data lake or data warehouse technologies (e.g., Spark, ETL, Databricks).
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems.
• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience working in an agile development environment supporting tooling.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS or GCP) through hands-on experience or certification.
• Proficiency in other programming languages, such as Java.
