Job summary

Active Care Group in Birmingham is recruiting a Lead Speech and Language Therapist to drive transformation of our neurorehabilitation services within Active Neuro. You will lead a small SLT team, develop evidence-based programmes and supervise junior therapists, working across an MDT to improve outcomes.

Required HCPC registration, neurorehabilitation experience, DBS check and strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Experience in neurorehabilitation setting.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior SLTs and assistants.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBSRequired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist SLT assessment and intervention for clients with complex neurological needs.
• Lead development and delivery of evidence-based therapy programmes with MDT.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate group therapy sessions.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care and governance.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior SLTs and assistants.
