Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Lead Clinician in Speech and Language Therapy at Barton School, Lincolnshire. The role balances clinical leadership with a SLT caseload, delivering targeted assessments and bespoke intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles, including autism and SEMH needs.

You will coordinate the clinical team, work with the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead, and help develop the service in a growing educational setting.

Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Registered HCPC professional.
• Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
• Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
• Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
• Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-house clinical team at Barton School and collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
• Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs.
• Coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and develop the school-based service.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and contribute to service development.
