Job summary

Clancy is seeking an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of the South West Water contract across Cornwall. The role involves leading operational teams, overseeing day-to-day works, and ensuring activities are carried out safely, efficiently and to required standards at sites across Newquay, Truro and other Cornwall locations.

You will guide teams, review risk assessments, and coordinate resources while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction or operational works.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational teams across multiple sites.
• Plan upcoming works and coordinate resources.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and site documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and safety checks to identify hazards.
• Monitor quality of works and promote right-first-time delivery.
• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations to minimise disruption.
• Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment are used safely.
• Identify improvements to processes and performance.
