Job summary

Equans Data Centers is recruiting a Site Supervisor – Construction to support a High Wycombe project. The role will oversee construction works on site, ensure adherence to technical specs, safety standards and project timelines, and lead installation engineers and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will manage resources, liaise with project managers, conduct safety audits, and maintain site documentation to support efficient delivery of the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Experience from a construction engineering background.
• Site supervisor experience.
• Desire to continually develop knowledge further.
• Self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines.
• Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and clients.
• Be able to work and support a busy construction team.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercially astute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction and commissioning activities on site.
• Coordinate and lead construction teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor quality and progress of works against project plans and drawings.
• Manage resources, materials and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
• Manage labour and resource on site.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to communicate status and issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, permits and inspections.
• Managing the day to day activities on site and ensuring the programme of works is defined between all contractors for upcoming activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in site execution, labour utilisation and resource management.
