Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group in Oxford is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment and construction projects. You will coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and operatives to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

SMSTS and construction background are essential.
Proven track record managing refurbishment and construction projects on site.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, systems and processes, and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate site resources, materials, plant and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
Develop and monitor programmes, budgets and targets with Project/Contracts Managers.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and industry standards.
Complete site inspections, start-up procedures and maintain accurate project documentation.
Identify and report incidents, near misses and site issues to promote a safe working environment.
