Job summary

Recruit 4 Construction Ltd in West Fife is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to lead a live high-voltage substation project. You will oversee extensive civil works, reinforced concrete, steel structures and 132kV cable installation, delivering complex work safely and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will manage site teams, subcontractors and delivery partners, communicate with clients, and ensure RAMS, planning and QA are robust on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as No.1 Site Manager on comparable projects.
• Extensive experience within live high-voltage substations.
• Strong civil engineering subcontractor background.
• Substantial experience of 132kV cable installation or above.
• Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project delivery.
• Confident communication with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Experience producing high-quality RAMS.
• Experience preparing programmes and short-term lookaheads using MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of QA, inspection and test plans.
• Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
• Proactive, organised and delivery-focused approach.

Responsibilities

SITE MANAGER - HIGH-VOLTAGE SUBSTATION PROJECT

Are you an experienced No.1 Site Manager with a proven background delivering high-voltage substation and civil engineering projects?

Recruit 4 Construction is searching for an accomplished Site Manager to take responsibility for a major live substation project in West Fife. This is a technically demanding position involving extensive civil engineering, reinforced concrete, structural steelwork and high-voltage cable installation.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within live high-voltage substations and possess the technical knowledge, leadership skills and drive required to deliver a complex project safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.

The Project

The scope of works includes:

• Excavation and associated civil engineering works
• Construction of reinforced concrete structures
• Installation of prefabricated steel structures
• Duct proving and preparation
• Installation of 132kV cabling
• Fibre installation
• Scaffolding coordination
• Cable terminations and jointing
• High-voltage testing

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience operating as the No.1 Site Manager on comparable projects
• Extensive experience within live high-voltage substations
• A strong civil engineering subcontractor background
• Substantial experience of cable installation at 132kV or above
• The ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project delivery
