Job summary

Wright Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly experienced Site Installation Manager to oversee the delivery and installation of major projects. You will manage on-site installation activities across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, coordinate with clients, subcontractors and site teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in line with programme requirements.

The role requires strong planning using Microsoft Project, preparation of risk assessments

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in site installation and supervision of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience as Site Manager, Planning Supervisor or CDM Coordinator.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Act and CDM regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• SMSTS qualification/card essential.
• HNC/HND or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site installation activities.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic installation works.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
• Prepare and manage site programmes using Microsoft Project.
• Produce and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Manage dismantling, refurbishment, and installation of complex machinery and structures including drives, gears, valves, and pumps.
• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
• Monitor project progress and maintain commercial awareness throughout delivery.
