Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Engineer to join the Water Frameworks team covering Kent and Sussex. You will establish level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works from contract drawings, ensuring checks are performed regularly and records are maintained accurately.

The role focuses on safe delivery, environmental compliance, and working to Barhale Cardinal Rules. You will produce ITPs, look-aheads, site diaries, and liaise with procurement to ensure resources are

Qualifications

• Knowledge of setting out on civil engineering projects.
• Strong health and safety awareness and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• CSCS card holder; degree/HNC in civil engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish level and survey control for contracts.
• Set out detailed works per contract drawings with regular checks.
• Ensure records comply with organisational and legal requirements.
• Produce procurement schedules and liaise with procurement for site resources.
• Produce ITPs and Task Briefings.
• Create a 2-week look-ahead with Site Agent.
• Maintain Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets.
