Job summary

Equans is seeking a Lead Shift Engineer (Electrical bias) to join our ICR team in Chelsea, London. You will lead the electrical engineering team, oversee maintenance targets and coordinate with clients and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires on-call rotation and occasional out-of-hours work, with a comprehensive salary and benefits package. You will ensure compliance with electrical standards, read and interpret drawings, and support professional

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical City and Guilds or equivalent.
• 2391 inspection and testing and BS7671 18th Edition.
• Experience in electrical building services maintenance and fault finding.
• Able to lead engineers and manage subcontractors; read drawings; CAFM.
• Competent Person for electrical duties.
• Five years post-qualification experience.
• Mechanical qualification desirable.

Who are you?

• Qualified in Electrical City and Guilds or equivalent
• Qualified in Electrical Inspection and Testing 2391 and BS7671 18th Edition
• Experienced in electrical building services maintenance, fault finding and repairs
• Able to lead engineers, manage subcontractors and maintain statutory compliance
• Confident reading electrical drawings and using CAFM systems
• Able to act as a Competent Person for designated electrical duties
• Customer focused, organised and able to work under pressure
• At least five years of relevant post qualification experience
• A mechanical qualification is desirable
