Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is recruiting a hands-on Sheet Metal Production & Operations Supervisor in Exhall, Coventry. The role oversees three factory locations, manages materials, quality and day-to-day operations, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and maintaining safety and efficiency.

Pay starts at £16.50+ per hour and hours are Mon-Thu 8:00-17:00, Fri 7:00-16:00, with occasional overtime. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication, read technical drawings

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of quality control.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials and manufactured products across three factory locations.
• Carry out quality inspections on welding, bending, laser-cut components, paint finishes and completed products.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Ensure customer orders and work orders are completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out stock checks and arrange stock replenishment at Factory 2.
• Monitor the flow of materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Promote high standards of health and safety, quality and organisation.
• Train and support employees where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Take a hands-on approach and assist wherever needed to support the wider business.
