Job summary

Sirius Recruitment Services Ltd is collaborating with a Coventry-based sheet metal subcontractor to recruit an experienced Production Manager who will oversee sheet metal fabrication operations across sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage 25-30 direct reports and drive efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and a proven track record of process improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and production workflows.
• Proven experience managing large teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a changing setting.
• PC literate and comfortable using production management systems and tools.
• Self-starter mentality with drive to implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations across multiple sheet metal fabrication sites with 25–30 direct reports.
• Lead process improvements and implement new operational standards to drive efficiency and OTIF.
