Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Headington, Oxfordshire to lead a friendly team and deliver person-centred support to tenants with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs.

This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible rota including evenings and weekends, and offers up to £14.05 per hour, plus pension contributions and enhanced DBS. You will help tenants live independently and stay involved in their local community.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in providing care and support to people with a range of support needs.
• Compassion, motivation, diligence and empathy are essential.
• Warm, well organised, conscientious with good verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work a rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Developing and leading the team to enable tenants to have a high quality of life.
• Be responsible for ensuring personal, practical, emotional and social support is delivered.
• Assist the Project Manager and Registered Manager to ensure high quality care.
