The Senior Support Worker role in Kingston upon Hull is with a leading UK children’s healthcare provider. You will lead a small on-site team, deliver daily care plans, and ensure the home runs smoothly day and night.

You will also write logs, coordinate with social workers and families, and help young people build skills and independence. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and relevant experience are required; benefits and career progression are offered.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care required plus relevant experience.
• Experience in complex care, homecare, residential care or similar settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patient and compassionate.

Aufgaben

• Lead the on-duty team, organise daily routine and ensure home runs smoothly and safely.
• Use positive support and de-escalation to manage challenging situations.
• Implement daily care and support plans for the young person, focusing on complex needs.
• Write accurate daily logs, incident reports and safely manage/ administer medication.
• Coordinate with social workers, therapists and families on a regular basis.
• Plan activities to help the young person learn new skills, gain independence and thrive.
