Scope AT Limited is seeking Lead/Senior Software Engineers to own the core and documentation platforms for a financial services client. You will build cloud-native distributed systems on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, coding in TypeScript/Node.js with React (Lead) or Java/Kotlin (Senior).

You will work on Kafka-driven integrations and REST APIs, ensuring reliability, observability, and rapid incident response. London-based with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong TypeScript and Node.js skills.
• Experience building distributed cloud-native systems.
• AWS and Kubernetes experience.
• Financial Services domain experience is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Build cloud-native distributed systems on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop via TypeScript/Node.js with React for Lead role or Java/Kotlin for Senior.
• Create event-driven integrations using Kafka and REST APIs.
• Own production reliability, observability and incident response processes.
• Lead architecture and engineering standards; mentor teammates.
• Contribute to production support when needed.
