Access Personnel LTD is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer for a permanent role based in Inverness, Highlands. You will lead site engineering activities, coordinate with management, and drive safe, quality delivery on civil projects.

The role demands strong setting-out and surveying skills, plus proven leadership to guide site teams and resolve issues that affect progress. UK driving licence required.

Competenze

• Solid civil engineering background with infrastructure experience.
• Experience as Senior Site Engineer or progressing Site Engineer.
• Excellent setting-out and surveying capabilities with GPS/total stations.

Mansioni

• Taking ownership of site engineering operations, including setting out, surveying and dimensional control.
• Interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Providing technical leadership and support to site teams and subcontractors.
• Identifying and resolving engineering challenges and design discrepancies.
• Managing quality assurance procedures and as-built information.
• Coordinating with site management to maintain programme targets and minimise disruption.
• Supporting planning and sequencing of construction activities.
• Maintaining communication with project managers, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensuring works comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers where appropriate.
