Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer to lead technical direction across UK water projects, delivering robust process designs and governance.

You will mentor engineers, influence strategy from concept to commissioning, and work with multidisciplinary teams across London, Cambridge and other UK locations, helping to shape resilient infrastructure for communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in process engineering within water/wastewater/utilities.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of UK water industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across water and wastewater projects and programmes.
• Act as a technical authority, providing expert advice and assurance across projects.
• Lead process designs, calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Influence engineering strategy from concept through to design, construction and commissioning.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers and future leaders.
