KBR in Leatherhead, United Kingdom, seeks a Lead Accountant for SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting. You will lead preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and tie-outs for the company&39;s SEC filings and support policy maintenance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of experience, CPA preferred, and strong Excel with Workiva/Wdesk and Wdata skills. Big Four exposure is a plus.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; degree may be substituted.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Workiva/Wdesk and Wdata preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and coordinate key aspects of the Company’s SEC reporting function, including timely financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and disclosures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain information for disclosures in SEC filings.
• Research technical accounting matters and document accounting conclusions.
• Maintain and update accounting policy manual and align with SOX controls.
• Support earnings release process and tie-out of earnings presentations.
• Support consolidations process and balance sheet rollforwards in SEC filings.
• Assist with tie-out of the annual proxy statement.
• Review XBRL tagging within Workiva for financial statements and footnotes.
• Participate in business process improvements using automation tools such as Wdata.
