Job summary

Lonza is seeking an R&D Lead Scientist to join the Slough site and drive purification process development using high-throughput workflows and rigorous data-driven decision making. Qualifications

Advanced laboratory experience and ability to independently plan and execute complex studies.
Experience with high-throughput workflows or related bioprocessing technologies.
Strong data analysis and interpretation to guide development decisions.
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills for reports and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, plan and execute purification process development studies.
Develop and optimise high-throughput workflows to accelerate development.
Configure and operate high-throughput equipment with robust data capture.
Analyze data and provide clear recommendations for process decisions.
Identify risks to study delivery and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with analytical, automation, bioinformatics, and data science teams.
