Job summary

UK-Research-and-Innovation in Cambridge seeks a compute resources specialist for a fixed-term role until 30 September 2030 to support the Institute's Scientific Computing facilities. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting day-to-day issues and maintaining compute and data storage resources, including Machine Learning workloads.

You will take technical and organisational lead responsibility for one or more computing resources and ensure ongoing maintenance of Scientific Computing.

Qualifications

• Provide expert input to the day-to-day maintenance of the Institute's Scientific Computing facilities, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems that arise.
