AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to work on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) studies and microwave instrumentation for Earth Observation missions. You will collaborate with universities, small companies and space agencies and contribute to proposals and technical studies spanning up to 14 months.

Qualifications

Experience in microwave instrument design with SAR concepts.
Experience with technical studies, bid processes and proposal writing.
Interest in collaborating with experts and knowledge sharing for future space missions.

Responsibilities

Lead microwave instrument proposals and studies up to 14 months, with focus on SAR.
Analyse, design and develop Microwave Instrument systems.
Ensure alignment with customer requirements across the lifecycle, including schedules and trade-offs.
Request and provide peer reviews for studies, projects and proposals.
Support technical and industrial negotiations with the customer and assist commercial negotiations.
