Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Lead Business Analyst (SAP) to head the SAP analysis team and drive large-scale transformation. You will shape discovery, define requirements and ensure delivery aligns with business outcomes across major programmes.

Qualifications

• Extensive business analysis experience within large-scale IT-enabled change.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience leading and developing a team of Business Analysts.
• Experience gathering requirements, analysis, solution assessment and validation, process mapping and business readiness.
• Strong stakeholder management at senior levels with influence over programme leadership.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business analysis team supporting SAP related complex change and transformation programmes.
• Set clear standards for discovery, requirements management, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria and business readiness.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, creating an inclusive, accountable and high-performing culture.
• Develop business analysis delivery plans, resource forecasts and budgets with project leaders.
• Maintain oversight of sprint planning and backlogs, aligning priorities to outcomes.
• Provide clear progress reporting and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as needed.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and manage conflicting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in methods, templates, tools and practice.
