Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Senior ROV Pilot Technician to support offshore operations across the UK and beyond. You will lead maintenance, perform piloting of ROVs, and ensure safety and environmental standards are upheld on complex subsea tasks.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with ROV systems, subsea tooling, and LARS, with strong communication skills for coordinating multi‑discipline teams in dynamic offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in at least one core technical discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
• Competent in piloting ROVs and operating manipulators with precision and control offshore.
• Hands‑on experience with various ROV systems, subsea tooling, and Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS).
• Background in diverse subsea operations and adaptability to offshore environments.
• Experience supporting mobilisations and demobilisations as part of an offshore team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety focus with a proactive attitude toward Health, Safety, and the Environment.
• Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for ROV systems and subsea tooling.
• Perform piloting and manipulator operations during subsea tasks.
• Execute safe launch and recovery procedures for the ROV, including TMS and LARS.
• Support the Supervisor with planning, safety documentation, and technical coordination.
