Job summary

Penguin Recruitment seeks an experienced Lead Rotary Driller for a Sheffield-based role in a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. You will lead drilling operations on diverse GI projects and oversee crews to deliver high-quality site investigations.

The role requires proven rotary drilling experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety. A CSCS card is advantageous; a full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are required. This is a permanent, on-site position.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Lead Rotary Driller to join a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing ground investigation, geotechnical engineering and site investigation services across the UK. Based in Sheffield, you'll work on a diverse range of infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects within a business renowned for its technical expertise and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotary drilling operations on a variety of ground investigation projects.
• Operate and maintain drilling rigs and associated equipment.
• Supervise drilling crews, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
• Liaise with engineers and clients while maintaining high technical standards.
