KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is seeking a Lead RF Engineer in County Durham for a hybrid role. You will drive RF and millimetre-wave design, own specifications, simulations and verification, and lead a technical team to produce robust, manufacturable products.

You will mentor engineers, guide best practices, and work with electronics, mechanical, PCB layout and production teams to deliver high-performance systems. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must have hands-on RF/mmWave circuit and system design experience.
• Experience leading technical work and guiding others.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools (MWO, CST, EMPro or ADS).
• Strong grasp of microwave circuit design, tolerance, yield and DFM.
• Degree in RF/Electronics or Communications Engineering.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design of RF and mmWave circuits, modules and systems from concept to production.
• Own the technical side of specification, simulation, build and verification.
• Carry out system line-up, tolerance and yield analysis with design for manufacture baked in.
• Mentor and support engineers around you.
• Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, PCB layout, production and test teams.
• Run design reviews and manage technical risk.
• Produce and review design documents: logbooks, data packs, peer reviews.
