Filtronic Plc. seeks a Principal RF Engineer to join our new state-of-the-art facility in County Durham, UK. You will lead RF/mmW sub-circuit and system design from concept through to production, ensuring performance, cost and manufacturability targets are met.

You will provide technical leadership, run design reviews, and work closely with mechanical, electronics, PCB, manufacturing and test teams to deliver robust products, while guiding early stage verification and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in RF, microwave or related field.
• Significant RF/mmW circuit or system design experience.
• Experience with RF design tools ( Microwave Office, CST, EMPro or ADS ).
• Strong knowledge of microwave design, tolerance and manufacturability.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of RF/mmW sub-circuits and systems.
• Provide technical leadership and drive design reviews and risk management.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, PCB layout, manufacturing and test teams.
• Support design verification, validation and documentation.
