St George's University Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Physiotherapist to provide advanced assessment, diagnosis and planning of treatment for patients with complex respiratory disease in predominantly outpatient settings. The role includes autonomous practice, supervision of students and MDT members, and senior leadership responsibilities within the department.

The post involves leading on service development, audits and national reporting, with opportunities to influence policy and care

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced assessment and planning of care for complex respiratory cases.
• Ability to supervise students and MDT members.
• Proven leadership and operational management within a clinical area.
• Experience contributing to service development and audits.

Responsabilités

• To use advanced assessment, diagnosis and plan treatment for respiratory patients in predominately outpatient settings with highly complex presentations.
• Provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy input to patients within department.
• Supervision and teaching of students and members of the wider MDT.
• Provide skilled team leadership and be responsible for operational management, team development, policy implementation and standards of practice.
• Input into commissioning of new services as required.
• Lead in evidence-based projects and departmental audits in the clinical area.
• Report into national audits relevant to clinical area.
• Report regularly to stakeholders on service KPIs.
