Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in biology/biomedical sciences or engineering.
• Advanced expertise in high-resolution imaging, tissue clearing, and light-sheet microscopy.
• Experience with quantitative image analysis and machine learning applied to neurodegeneration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a nationally competitive neurodegeneration research program.
• Develop NeuroMAP platform and NeuroATLAS with lab build-out and workflows.
• Contribute to securing extramural funding as co-investigator or collaborator.
• Conduct independent and collaborative studies; publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior researchers and staff.

Education

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent terminal degree) in Biology, Molecular or Cellular Biology, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or related field
