Qualifications

• NMC registration as a nurse.
• Numerate and literate with effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in IT and care systems used for the role.
• Ability to develop internal and external relationships based on professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure while motivating the team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee high standards of person-centred care and assess residents' needs.
• Promote independence and personal choice, updating care plans as needed.
• Oversee medicine management in line with policies and legislation.
• Represent the business positively with residents' families and external stakeholders.
• Ensure positive resident experiences from admission to discharge.
• Participate in inspections and ensure team readiness.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
• Maintain rigorous monitoring, recording, and incident reporting.
• Foster a cohesive team approach and staff support for delivery of care.
• Engage with host home targets and support the Home Manager to achieve them.
• Lead by example, supervise staff, and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
