Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) for a Nursing Home role focused on dementia and complex care. Flexible shifts are available, with rolling patterns across 7 days including alternate weekends. You will lead shifts, deliver person-centred care and coordinate with GP and MDT teams.

You will support residents with complex needs, mentor junior staff and uphold clinical governance while advancing your professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC.
• A valid NMC PIN (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a care setting.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, documentation and care planning.
• Leading shifts as Nurse in Charge, ensuring safe staffing and smooth operations.
• Providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to residents.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance.
• Liaising with GPs, external professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Preparing MDT reports to support outcomes and coordinated care.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop skills and safe practice.
• Supporting residents with complex needs including dementia and long-term conditions.
