Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) for a Nursing Home role. You will lead shifts, deliver safe, person-centred care to residents with dementia and complex needs, and collaborate with GPs and MDTs to ensure positive outcomes.

The role offers flexible shifts across 7 days, with support for professional development and adherence to safeguarding and clinical governance standards.

Qualifications

• Providing safe, person-centred clinical care in a Nursing Home setting.
• Using syringe drivers for continuous medication; catheter care and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, documentation and care planning
• Leading shifts as Nurse in Charge, ensuring safe staffing and smooth operations
• Providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to residents
• Maintaining safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance
• Liaising with GPs and multi-disciplinary teams
• Preparing MDT reports for coordinated care
• Mentoring junior team members
• Supporting residents with dementia, cognitive decline and long-term conditions
