Job summary

Chase Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new solo children’s home in Nottingham, dedicated to one young person with high specialist needs. You will have full operational responsibility, ensuring safe, high-quality, tailored care and strict safeguarding adherence.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home.
• Proven experience with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk management.
• Experience developing care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Experience engaging with social workers and commissioners.
• Level 5 leadership qualification or progress toward it.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the home in line with Ofsted and regulations.
• Provide strong leadership for a highly specialist solo placement.
• Manage staffing levels up to 3:1 according to needs.
• Support young people with complex needs and safeguarding risks.
• Ensure care planning and risk assessments are robust and reviewed.
• Understand court-ordered restrictions and apply least-restrictive options.
• Promote placement stability and positive outcomes.
• Recruit and develop a consistent staff team.
• Maintain high standards in line with Quality Standards.
• Collaborate with social workers, commissioners, clinicians and professionals.
