Hitachi Rail UK Limited is seeking a Lead Technician to join the Stoke Gifford Depot, Bristol. You will oversee maintenance, fault-finding and repair of Hitachi rolling stock, mentoring colleagues and upholding safety, quality and reliability across the fleet.

Based at Stoke Gifford, you will ensure adherence to operational specifications, read and interpret drawings, and drive high standards of safety while delivering dependable rail technology performance.

Formación

• HNC or served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical disciplines
• NVQ Level 3 in engineering
• Experience in preventative maintenance and fault-finding
• AC depot isolation knowledge
• Moveable plant experience

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the condition of the work site, materials and equipment
• Prepare for and undertake planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Identify, assess and rectify defects on Hitachi rolling stock assets
• Create technical scopes of work for fault rectification
• Keep SAP records up to date and follow safety/quality practices
