Arcadis is a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm combining digital innovation, data analytics and asset management to improve the performance of rail assets. We seek an Asset Management Principal Consultant to lead strategy delivery, manage consultancy projects and grow our rail advisory capabilities within the UK mobility division.

You will report to an associate director, shape the rail asset management team, and act as a SME in asset management while developing value

Qualifications

Experience with transportation clients, asset-rich organisations, or consultancy in this space.
Proven ability to resolve strategic, tactical, and operational challenges across asset management, planning and investment.
Delivery or leadership of asset, infrastructure, or technology projects in the transport sector.
Strong communication and numeracy skills; ability to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

Deliver rail asset management projects on time, within budget, and to quality targets.
Contribute to UK mobility asset management strategy and build global capability.
Develop asset management strategies, change programmes and business cases.
Design and implement ISO55001-aligned management systems.
Drive investment decisions and long-term planning for asset portfolios.
Build client relationships and promote growth through thought leadership and cross‑business tenders.
