Job summary

Metabolic is seeking an experienced HCPC registered Radiographer to lead the imaging service at our Knightsbridge clinic in London. The role combines expert clinical practice with leadership, education and service development to support diagnostic pathways across metabolic care.

The position requires senior-level practice across DEXA, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular imaging, with emphasis on high quality, safety and governance. Right to work in the United Kingdom is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical specialism (e.g., MSc).
• Current HCPC registration as Radiographer.
• Active membership of the Society and College of Radiographers.
• Abdominal and thyroid ultrasound experience.
• Significant experience at advanced or consultant practice level.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the imaging service and set the clinical standard for the team.
• Act as the senior reference for complex imaging cases.
• Advise the clinical team on imaging pathways, protocols and equipment.
• Represent imaging services in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical governance forums.
• Contribute to clinical audit, service evaluation and research relevant to imaging.
• Ensure imaging services comply with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and UK GDPR/data protection guidelines.
