Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer with proven MRI/CT experience to join the Cross Sectional Imaging team. You will perform CT and MRI examinations, ensuring high image quality and patient care while working with a multidisciplinary team across Blackburn and Burnley sites.

The role requires flexibility to cover 7-day shift patterns, supervision of juniors, and adherence to IRMER/IRR guidelines with emphasis on radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Band 6 requires proven experience of MRI and/or CT procedures and a high level of MRI and/or CT scanning knowledge.
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographer to join the Cross Sectional Imaging team.
• Ability to lead in the absence of Senior Colleagues and supervise juniors.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT and MRI scanning examinations.
• Maintain high quality, patient-focused service and adhere to department standards.
• Promote infection control, radiation safety, and ANTT procedures.
• Operate across 3 sites and participate in flexible 7-day shift patterns.
