Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic MRI radiographer (Band 6) to deliver high-quality MR imaging across three sites: Royal Preston Hospital, Chorley District Hospital and a mobile centre.

You will perform MR examinations for adults and children, collaborate with theatre and pacing teams, and participate in audits and quality improvements while assuming on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience performing MR examinations in adult and paediatric patients.
• Willingness to participate in seven-day MRI service and on-call rota.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of MR examinations across three sites.
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic images while prioritising patient care.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and students as needed.
• Contribute to departmental audits, research and quality improvements.
• Support safe MRI practice in line with MHRA guidelines.
