Job summary

West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 6 CT Radiographer to join our Cross Sectional Imaging team at Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre and West Suffolk Hospital. This permanent role supports a 24/7 CT service across multiple GE scanners and the planned new hospital project.

We seek a passionate radiographer committed to excellent patient care, outstanding image quality, and ongoing professional development within CT head/reports and MDT involvement.

Qualifications

• Have a degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Be registered with the HCPC.
• Post Graduate courses in CT are desirable.

Responsibilities

• To work as a skilled and experienced Radiographer as an active member of the Cross Sectional Imaging service CT team.
• To have a working knowledge of IRMER and safe working practice in CT and Radiology.
• To deliver high-quality patient care, manage lists and prioritise urgent cases.
• To participate in the radiography training programme and teach students.
