Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated radiographer to join the plain imaging department across all WUTH sites. The post has a specialist interest in IR/Cath Lab and will be trained to cover both areas and participate in the OOH service for plain imaging and IR/Cath Lab.

Successful applicants will contribute to a 24/7 service, work within IR/CL with rotation through ED, MSK and theatres, and help train staff while developing CPD.

Qualifications

• Specialist interest in IR/Cath Lab.
• Engages with CPD and QSI champions and development.
• Lead training and CPD for radiographic staff.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to 24/7 service delivery for plain imaging and IR/CL.
• Work within IR/CL with rotation through ED, MSK clinics, GP clinics IP/OPs, theatres and wards.
• Act as senior and co-ordinator to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Report to Principal Radiographers for Plain Imaging and IR/CL and liaise regularly to resolve issues.
• Participate in QA programme for the plain imaging service.
