Balfour Beatty – Energy is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery on the ASTI Project in Peterhead, Scotland. This permanent role involves owning project performance, guiding a small QS team and ensuring robust commercial control across complex infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Substantial Quantity Surveying experience in construction or infrastructure.
• Proven track record managing commercial performance on complex projects.
• Experience leading and developing commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Quantity Surveying staff across the project.
• Develop and deliver the commercial strategy to protect margin and manage risk.
• Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow, valuations and final accounts.
• Manage subcontract procurement, subcontract accounts and commercial performance.
• Identify, value and agree variations with the customer.
• Support project reviews, reporting and commercial decision-making.
