Job summary

Albert D Wellington Ltd (ADW) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join our London team. You will handle full project lifecycle cost management, from feasibility through final account, and support junior surveyors on professional development programs.

The role requires degree-qualified QS/Commercial Manager and 2–5 years post-graduate experience in a consultancy or construction setting, with strong contract knowledge and client-facing skills. London-based knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• 2–5 years post-graduate experience in a consultancy or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost management processes and construction contracts.
• Experience delivering projects from inception to final account.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and budget estimates at early project stages.
• Produce and manage Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
• Lead procurement and tender processes, including contractor selection and tender reporting.
• Provide ongoing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting throughout project delivery.
• Assess, certify, and agree interim valuations and final accounts.
• Manage variations, risk, and change control per contract requirements.
• Administer construction contracts and support project and contract administration duties.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure value for money.
