Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on multiple civil, electrical and infrastructure projects for a major UK energy contractor. You will own valuations, cash flow, risk and change control from start to final accounts, and build strong client and supply-chain relationships.

NEC3/NEC4 contract experience, excellent Excel skills (pivot tables/lookup), and a degree in Quantity Surveying (or HNC with relevant experience) are essential for this permanent

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or HNC with relevant experience).
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Experience in civil engineering and construction projects.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and supply-chain accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3, NEC4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects.
• Lead quotation submissions and ensure contract orders are in place.
• Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain CVRs and cash-flow forecasts.
• Monitor project costs, revenue, margins, risks and opportunities.
• Attend client progress and commercial meetings and build client relationships.
• Manage contractual change, compensation events, claims and disputes.
• Support procurement and effective management of the supply chain.
